Why Village Finances
Most of us have lent money to a friend, or needed to borrow from one. It's a beautiful thing to do, and it can still get awkward. Nobody wrote anything down. Nobody is sure what was paid. Nobody wants to be the one who brings it up.
Village Finances gives those loans a little structure so the relationship can stay the main thing. Terms are written down. Each lender gets a clear repayment schedule. Both people confirm every payment. And forgiving a debt is recorded for what it is: a gift.
We care more about investing in people than getting a return. That's why interest is 0% unless a lender chooses otherwise.
